Colour photograph taken from the stage left side of the raised rear section of the first balcony. The view takes in the first balcony, boxes to stage right and part of the stage and rectangular proscenium. The image shows the theatre in use as a Bingo Hall. The lower boxes are flanked by squat Corinthian columns, and the upper boxes by draped figures which support arches framing richly scrolled plasterwork. The balcony and box fronts are divided into panels which contain gilded plasterwork.
