Colour photograph showing the auditorium of the Alexandra Palace Theatre. The photograph is taken from stalls level. The auditorium is extremely dilapidated: the faded and peeling paintwork on the auditorium walls and on the front of the dress circle reveals the colour scheme of red and cream but none of the original decorative detailing; only an entrance to stage left, surmounted by a bat's-wing pediment and set within a projecting surround, has recognisable plasterwork designs. The Alexandra Palace Theatre has not been in use since the 1930s.
