Colour photograph showing an auditorium entrance at the Alexandra Palace Theatre. The photograph is taken from opposite the entrance which is in the auditorium wall to stage left. Although the entrance and adjacent walls are delapidated, some of the original plasterwork designs are recognisable. The bivalve door is surmounted by a bat's-wing pediment and set within a moulded architrave; above, panels containing griffins and a patera rise to a cornice and a low segmental pediment, both underlined with egg-and-dart mouldings. The Alexandra Palace Theatre has not been in use since the 1930s.
