000119.jpg

Colour-tinted postcard showing the façade and part of a sidewall of the New Theatre (latterly the Noel Coward Theatre, before that the Albery) on St. Martin’s Lane in London. The building is made up of three major bays, the centre slightly advanced and pedimented. An iron canopy covers various entrances and exits, with advertising signage also visible at street-level. More signs on the canopy, and in large tablature jutting out from the first floor, advertise a production starring Julia Neilson.
