Colour photograph showing the façade of the former Operetta House, in use as a nightclub at the time the photograph was taken, in Clacton-on-Sea. Taken from across the road, it shows a brick building with stone dressings made up of six bays. The four bays to the right form the main façade, with tall arched windows on the middle two rising to a curved gable and entablature at each level. Shops occupy the ground floor. The two shorter bays to the left have the entrance to the nightclub at their base, with a large bow window dominating the right hand bay, and a sash window topped by a pediment on the left. The theatre occupied the first floor of the building.
