Colour photograph showing the auditorium of Pendle Hippodrome in Colne. Taken from the stage looking towards the rear of the auditorium, it shows the stalls, a single end balcony, a wood-boarded ceiling with sloping sides, and both sidewalls. It is a long and narrow auditorium with two (of three) panels on each of the sidewalls carrying ‘crossed flaming torch’ light fittings (rescued from the Palace Hippodrome, Nelson). The balcony front is decorated with fibrous plaster swags, shields and flowers.
