Colour photograph showing the façade and roof of the Lyceum Theatre within a streetscape of Heath Street in Crewe. The theatre dominates the right hand side of the photograph with its red brick façade at an acute angle to the right of a pitched roof. A broad semi-circular arch fills the gable and is the main feature of the façade, with the tympanum carrying the date 1911 and the name of the theatre. Two large piers divide the façade into three bays with the wider central bay containing a smaller semicircular feature, this time in the form of a window, between two minor piers below. The ground floor has been rendered with a sign above also bearing the name of the theatre. To the left of the main building in the foreground is a two-storey block, also in red brick, with the bottom right hand corner containing the main entrance to the theatre. It has a similar sign bearing the name of the theatre, this time projected to form a shallow canopy over the entrance. A public house occupies the nearest corner of the two-storey block.
