Photograph of a colour-tinted postcard showing the façade and side elevation of the Waldorf Theatre (latterly the Strand Theatre, now Novello), on Aldwych in London. It is a five-storey building with two almost identical façades either side of a curved corner, and a four-storey sidewall block continuing the building off to the left. The main entrance lies at the base of the curved corner, although other entrances and exits are visible either side, with a striped canopy over an entrance to the left. WALDORF THEATRE appears in large tablature across the second floor on the curved corner and on posters at street-level. A side elevation of the Aldwych Theatre is visible on the far right of the postcard, beyond the site of the yet-to-be-built Waldorf Hotel.
