Colour photograph showing the façade of the New Theatre Royal in Sawclose, Bath. The ashlar façade has three storeys and six bays of plain sash windows. A white entrance block with three arched doorways, and topped with balustrades and a coat-of-arms pediment bearing the theatre’s name is projected from the main part of the building, having been a later addition. Entrances to the adjoining public house and restaurant (‘The Garrick’s Head’ and ‘Vaults’ respectively) are visible on the left hand side of the building.
