Colour photograph showing the auditorium of the New Vic, which was built into the original 1903 entranceway of the Theatre Royal (when it was demolished in 1972), in Bristol. Taken from a balcony stage left looking towards the rear of the hexagonal-shaped auditorium, it shows yellow bleacher seating with a central stepped aisle up to a walkway that leads to the control box behind. The balcony opposite is visible to the right.
