Black and white postcard showing the façade and side wall of the New Cross Empire Theatre, within a streetscape of New Cross Road in London. The theatre dominates the foreground of the postcard with its five circular windows and two corner towers. A statue can be seen on top of on the far tower. EMPIRE appears in large lettering in between the two towers, with EMPIRE VARIETY THEATRE just below. There is a first floor balustraded balcony on the exposed sidewall. Advertising signage is visible at street-level.
