Colour photograph showing the façade and sidewall of Burnley Mechanics Arts & Entertainment Centre. Three bays of the five-bay façade are visible on the left hand side of the photograph with the sidewall to the right. It is an imposing sandstone building in the style of an Italian palazzo with ground floor windows and doors set in a rusticated arcade, and pedimented windows at first floor level with a tripartite window in the centre. There is a rich bracketed cornice above and a small lit canopy bearing the name BURNLEY MECHANICS over the main entrance. The sidewall has a central entrance with coupled Corinthian columns.
