Colour photograph showing the stage of the former Prince of Wales theatre in Cardiff. Taken from the dress circle, it shows an imposing proscenium flanked by giant fluted Ionic columns carrying a big triangular open pediment, with a bas-relief Grecian frieze above. At the time the photograph was taken the former theatre was being used as a discotheque, and the stage has been converted to a seating area. The auditorium is decorated in black with gold dressings.
