Black and white photograph showing the auditorium chandelier at the Apollo Theatre. The photograph is taken from the gods slips to stage left so as to focus on the chandelier. This Art Deco-style uplighter, which is flower-trumpet shaped and consists of two major tiers of curved glass panels, hangs from an ornate rose in the sloping oval ceiling, the perimeter of the ceiling also being highly enriched. The pendentives which carry the ceiling, the serpentine-fronted balcony and an exit (centre left) can also be seen clearly.
