Black and white photograph showing the auditorium of the Comedy Theatre. The photograph is taken from the centre of the dress circle so as to focus on the boxes to stage left. Both the stage boxes and the pairs of slips boxes, which appear behind a single front but are divided by an internal partition, can be seen. Other visible architectural elements include: the proscenium arch; the safety curtain, which is decorated with a stylised sunset design; and the dress circle seating.
