The ceiling has several bands of decoration - a moulding, a garland relief and a fretted octagonal hub to which individual garlands containing busts are attached - with a gas sunburner at its the centre. The underside of the safety curtain and the wall of the balcony, which is concentric with the ceiling, can also be seen clearly.
