Princess Theatre
The Princess Theatre opened in 1913 in Dawdon where one of the main collieries operated. Little is known about the theatre other that it had a fly tower but only took in live acts until September 1915. It became a cinema and later a bingo hall. It was derelict for many years before being demolished to create a car park.
