Gaiety
Information on the physical nature of the building is sparse. No details given in local paper for any of the major openings or events. In 1908 there was seating on two levels. By April 1911 it was mainly in cinema use. In 1962 it became a bingo hall and fell vacant in 1979. In 1994 the front of the building was completely remodelled.
The conversion into a shop has left some evidence of the theatre but reconversion would be expensive and is unlikely even to be proposed. Although it had a deeper stage than the Regal the facilities at the latter are better.
