Abbey Theatre
Designed by Antony Moyes, himself a member of the Company of Ten group, which is a member of the Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain. Oblong foyer/studio block at right angles to higher, square auditorium with fly tower forms a stark rectilinear plan.
Auditorium stadium style, about 240 seats with excellent sightlines, the front two rows removable for orchestral space. Square, modern proscenium. As well as dressing rooms, there is a lounge which doubles as a studio/rehearsal room, workshops, store, green room, bar and offices. The theatre is available for hire by professional and other local groups.
