New building replacing the earlier Market Hall which had been damaged by fire. Rectangular red brick building with apex roof, internally divided into foyer with catering/bar leading into auditorium with small flat proscenium stage, with dressing rooms to rear. House seats 128 stadium style. Stage has low grid (no fly tower). A remarkable achievement for an amateur theatre in a small market town.
