Forest Theatre
The Forest Theatre is situated on the Royal Forest of Dean Campus and is the second largest auditorium in the county of Gloucestershire. The venue plays host to professional artists and local performers as well as providing a platform for workshops, community groups and the Royal Forest of Dean Campus Theatre Company. Gloucestershire College which owns the theatre wants to move from Coleford to a purpose-built campus in Cinderford’s Northern Quarter. A local group called Five Acres Not For Sale (FANS) want the Forest Theatre to be refurbished so it will attract more performers and larger audiences.
