Barrington Theatre
The theatre lies within a single-storey community centre of plain pale brick with tiled roof, the roof of the auditorium rising a little higher. Designed for community use, the auditorium is multi-purpose with removeable linked seating, and a maple floor for ballroom dance. Flat proscenium stage. No flying facilities. Foyer with box office, the Longman Bar and ancillary/dressing rooms complete the facilities. The Centre closed briefly in January 2016 but reopened several days later after securing the financial support of a major local charity, Prama.
