Clifton
The Clifton opened in 1937, and like all Ernest Roberts' cinemas was equipped with a small stage house. The rendered façade with simple canopy over two entrance doors has long windows at first floor level over tripartite windows at either side of entrance; thin banded treatment standing in for an entablature over. Wider auditorium block of red brick behind.
