Finborough Theatre
Pub theatre founded in 1980, specialising in developing new writing and the rediscovery of neglected works, particularly from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. The Finborough Theatre is a small upstairs room seating 50 on simple cushioned bench seating, with a flat floored performance space.
Highly successful for thirty years, the theatre is renowned for its work to support and encourage new writing and the publication of new works through its Literary Department, as well as its development of new talent through volunteer internships and Emerging Theatre Directors Scheme.
