Pavilion Dance
Set behind the existing Pavilion Theatre, facing the gardens and the seafront, Pavilion Dance was created within a previously unused part of the Pavilion buildings.
The Pavilion was refurbished as part of Bournemouth's 'Town Centre Master Vision', a plan to reinvigorate and refresh the town centre, with major investment from the Borough Council. Pavilion Dance opened in September 2010, a 'centre of excellence for dance' created by Pavilion Dance South West.
With a separate entrance to the Pavilion Theatre, it has its own identity and facilities. The main performance space is a state of the art 200-seat studio space designed specifically for dance, and there are two further dance studios as well as facilities for practitioners and public alike.
