Sarah Siddons Theatre
The Sarah Siddons Theatre is a purpose built facility on the City of Westminster College's new Paddington Green Campus. The campus and theatre were designed by the Scandinavian practice schmidt hammer lassen and opened in September 2011.
The new Campus is set on the site of the College's 1960s buildings, the new buildings using geometric designs to form a modern, efficient complex that fits into its historic context.
The theatre has a flexible auditorium, seating 144 on a retractable rake and another 100 on removable seats. The auditorium has dividing doors which close to provide two smaller work spaces. A separate dance studio provides a second performance space and rehearsal room.
