Bierkeller Theatre
Established as a Bavarian drinking house in the 1960s, the Bristol Bierkeller has undergone a number of incarnations whilst maintaining its Teutonic beginnings. It has played host to bands, sporting events and, since acquiring a theatre licence 5 years ago, theatre companies. The space is highly flexible and able to accommodate a range of set ups, from proscenium to promenade. It is popular among site-specific and promenade performances.
