The Room Above
The Wardrobe Theatre was founded in 2011 by a Community Interest Company and was located above the White Bear pub in Bristol. It was a volunteer-run arts venue providing alternative theatre, comedy and regular local events. The stage was 4m deep by 10m wide with flexible seating. The Wardrobe Theatre relocated to Old Market in December 2015 in a collaboration with The Old Market Assembly. The vacated space was refurbished and reopened as The Room Above, a 50 seat space for theatre and performance, in November 2016 by two University of Bristol drama graduates.
