Brewery Theatre

3918

The Brewery Theatre opened on 29 August 2009 on the site of a tyre garage. Sharing the building with a cafe and bakery, the 90 seat theatre was used by the nearby Tobacco Factory Theatre (3296) as a studio theatre. However changes in insurance and licensing demands meant that the two organisations were unable to share front of house facilities. This made it impossible for the Brewery Theatre to host audiences so it was closed to the public from January 2016. It will be used in future for regular community classes as well as a technically facilitated rehearsal space for the Tobacco Factory Theatre.
