Palace Theatre Of Varieties
Plain brick, gabled front with arched windows - of no merit, and hidden behind a row of shops with access through a passageway. Interior originally had two balconies. No other description yet found. It became, for a time, a United Services Club and was later gutted (? in the 1970s) to form a 4-screen multiplex. Outer shell remains, now (2004) disused and boarded up.
