Kings Hall
The Kings Hall opened in 1907 within the converted New Central Hall. A gallery ran round three sides. About 1911, it became a cinema. In 1927 it reopened as a variety theatre staging mainly concert party and cabaret twice nightly. In 1928 the adverts in the local press ended. About 1932 it was converted into an indoor market. Demolished about 1963.
