Palace
In an unusually spirited Indian Islamic style with five domes and minarets, this seems to be the only surviving cinema by the local architect A E Cogswell. It escaped demolition in 1975, following a public inquiry into a Compulsory Purchase Order. The screen was originally at the entrance end. It is now a club, with live entertainment. The façade is perfectly preserved.
